Lawn watering will only be allowed on assigned days and further only before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
Hand watering or use of a low spray drip system for trees, shrubs, perennials and vegetables may only be done before 10:00 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
Due to ongoing drought conditions, the Wheat Ridge Water District will not grant any variance for planting seed and sod. New Sod and Seed installations are discouraged while we are under drought restrictions, as customers are currently required to water only on their assigned watering days. Drought restrictions will be enforced for the duration of the Stage 1 Drought Declaration.
